Obstruction in Food Pipe of T-24

The team of Indian Veterinary Research Institute has reached Udaipur to aid the male tiger T-24 also known as Ustad which is shifted in Sajjangarh Biological Park from Ranthambore National Park.

 

The team of Indian Veterinary Research Institute has reached Udaipur to aid the male tiger T-24 also known as Ustad which is shifted in Sajjangarh Biological Park from Ranthambore National Park.

Since its resettlement, the tiger is not in good health and recently it was found that there is an obstruction in his food pipe which is causing further trouble.

According to the doctors, because of the hindrance in food pipe, the tiger is unable to take food. Rahul Bhatnagar, chief forest conservator informed that a 5 member team under Dr Pavde from Indian Veterinary Research reached Udaipur on Thursday.

Today on Friday, the doctors will do x-ray and ultra sonography to know the reason of obstruction and cure with complete medical strategy.

The health condition of T-24 was informed to the higher authority and further notified and committee was formed to send a team of experts to Udaipur immediately.

The team is consisted of Dr Parag Nigam, senior scientist from Indian Wildlife Research Institute Dehradun, Dr Arvind Mathur from Jaipur Zoo and Dr Himanshu Vyas from Sajjangarh Biological Park Udaipur.
