The city officials have marked Rajiv Gandhi Garden to be the site for Helipad. On the other hand, the collector has asked the UIT secretary to search for the heighted site, of approx 100-200 ft. for constructing the Indian Flag pole.

The district administration has selected Rajiv Gandhi Park and conversed with the hotel owners in this concern. The construction of helipad will ease politicians, celebrities and other VIPs to have better access to the main city.

UIT Secretary Ramniwas Mehta has directed for necessary measures in this context. On the other hand, UIT is searching for another public place to establish the flag pole and convert the area into another tourist place.

The collector also monitored the development of 2.25 Km long cycle track along the Rani Road constructing under the budget of Rs. 13 Lac.
