The traffic arrangment will go on for a month and half beginning today 11th Feb.

The road widening work from Shiksha Bhawan choraha at Chetak to Rada ji choraha at Ambavgarh will begin from today. Following this, the traffic arrangements have been changed. 

One-way traffic system from Chetak to Rada ji choraha will begin today and this is likely to continue for one and a half month. The diversion will affect a lot of people taking this route on regular basis. It has been informed that all heavy transport vehicles will not be allowed to take this route.

The road is quite narrow and broadening of this route was need of the hour. Hence UIT has commenced the work of road widening after which the road will be have a 2-lane system. As of now this road is only 7 feet wide.

Next week onwards the traffic arrangement will be as follows:

  • 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers will take the Aravali Vatika route to reach Rada ji choraha.
  • Buses will take Fatehpura, Devali, Rani Road, Mahakal temple road to Mullatalai.
  • The buses coming from Nai-Jhadol will be allowed to reach upto the Mahakal tiraha only. They cannot go beyond from this point. 
  • Entry is prohibited from Yadav Colony to Ambavgarh.
  • Tourist buses from Mullatalai to Chetak will take the Rani Road to Fathepura route-Sukhadia Circle to reach Chetak Circle.
