Only 3% of State Revenue available for development – Vasundhra Raje, CM

Raje said that their Government has taken the correct path towards development, but people should lay their trust on us and have patience. Taking a dig on the previous Government and their methods of governance, Vasundhara Raje said, “up till now the cleaning of the tainted system has been done; the development will begin now”.
She said that currently, out of every Rs. 100 in the Government coffers, only Rs. 3 is made available towards development work. The remaining 97% of State Revenue is spent on monthly salaries, interest, pensions, etc.
Addressing the audience at the public hearing, Raje said “if you want prosperity in the state, then you should avoid communal clashes”. She also said, “The whole administrative hierarchy is meant to serve the public.”
Upset with the thousands of complains during Sarkar Aapke Dwar, Raje said that these grievances show that the work going on at rural levels need a big systemic change.
During her visit to the Sagarwara the CM heard and resolved many complaints. She also conducted a sudden inspection of the schools in the region.
