UdaipurTimes, Oct 13, 2026 - Parents of children born between September 24, 2011, and October 23, 2011, whose names have not yet been recorded on their birth certificates at the Udaipur Nagar Nigam, have been urged to come forward and complete the process. Once the child completes 15 years of age, his or her name cannot be added to birth certificates.

Udaipur Mayor Paras Singhvi has said that a list received from the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Jaipur, contains details of children whose birth registrations are available on the Pehchan portal, but whose names have not been entered on their birth certificates. Parents have been requested to contact the Nigam office and complete the process of adding their children’s names.

The concerned officers and staff have been directed by Commissioner Abhishek Khanna to verify the required documents and prioritise the name-registration process when parents approach the office.
