A parking contractor has been penalised with 20 thousand rupees for breaking rules. Municipal Corporation has fixed parking rates as per which receipts are to be given for amount taken for parking.

As per complaints, parking charges outside Lake City Mall were more than the rates fixed by corporation and receipts were not being provided to public for the same. Investigations revealed that parking fee was being charged over and above the fixed charges and receipts were not being provided even on demand. The parking contractor has been issued notice for going against the rules and regulations of tender process. He has been penalised with 20 thousand rupees for over stepping law. He has also been warned that if he is found breaking rules again, then his tender will be cancelled and deposit amount will also be seized. The parking contractor has also been warned that if he fails to follow rules again, an FIR will be registered against him.
