In a recent decision by the Waterworks Department, from now on if a pipeline of waterworks is damaged because of construction, then the accused have to pay double the fine and also have to bear the expenses towards new installation.

Officers in the Waterworks Department are gearing up to tighten their grip on people damaging pipelines and misusingwater.

Anyone who damages the pipeline will be paying twice the amount in fine according to the water that got wasted because of the damage.
