Additional District Collector O.P Bunkar has announced that the administration will plant 20,000 trees in the monsoon season in order to achieve ‘Clean Udaipur, Green Udaipur’ mission.

Additional District Collector O.P Bunkar has announced that the administration will plant 20,000 trees in the monsoon season in order to achieve ‘Clean Udaipur, Green Udaipur’ mission. He has also appealed for public participation for the same.

He addressed the gathering during the plantation drive organized by Surana Foundation at Lake Pichola on Thursday evening. He added that UIT will plant 7,500 trees while Nagar Nigam will contribute 4,000 trees in the campaign.

Also, NGOs, self-help groups, industrial houses and general public are putting efforts to make the city clean and green.

On the occasion, social worker and former minister Rajendra Gehlot, Ambamata SO Jitendra Anchaliya, Neeraj Sahai of Hotel Leela Palace, Sports Council’s former President Gajendra Singh Shaktawat and Rakesh Boliya etc. expressed their views.

Surana Foundation’s president Dalpat Surana informed all about the contribution made towards the campaign.
