The police restricted the camel rides at Fateh Sagar by looking at the situation of traffic jam in that area and lack of licenses. Also, the camels will be seized by the cops if found in the premises.

Due to difference in opinion between the police and administration, the tourists will be devoid of camel rides at Fateh Sagar.

According to ADM City, Chogaram, “There is no such order passed to restrict camel ride at Fateh Sagar. In fact, the order passed was to take the medical test of the camels and certificates of their performance.”

Whereas on the other hand, DSP Traffic Rajaram Meena said, “Due to lack of license and seeing the condition of the traffic, this step has been taken. If the corporation issues a licensed stand at the lake, the activity will be continued.”

The Collector and ADM are unaware of this step. While talking to the local media, the administration said that they do not have any problem regarding the camel ride. Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari said that discussion will be held during the first meet about license for camel and horse rides. Also, the route for the rides will also be determined.
