The flyover work in Pratapnagar is likely to be completed by May. The work for this flyover at Bhuwana-Eklingpura road had begun in April 2019 by UIT and has attracted a budget of 18.52 crore rupees.

The flyover is now taking shape, it is 450 metres long and 15.7 metres wide. The work of this 4-lane flyover is 70% over. A box-cell is being made under this flyover for the traffic between Udaipur and Chittor. This box-cell will be 12 metres wide and 5.5 metres high. It is being constructed as per the 6-lane infrastructure so that in future there will no issue regarding Pratapnagar road if this area needs to be converted into 6-lane.

Thousands of people will be benefitted by this flyover project. Traffic will be eased to the best possible extent and there will be no jams in future. Accident possibilities will reduce, in fact, will be eliminated forever. The flyover will also be a great help during the VIP or the VVIP movements.

Pratapnagar crossing has been wellknown for accidents almost everyday. Once this flyover comes up, the risk of accidents will be negligible. Since there won't be traffic jams, there will be comparatively less pollution in the area.
