For the upcoming Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra slated to be organized on 17^th July in Udaipur, the organizers and officials held a meeting in the guidance of additional district collector O.P Bunkar. Important decisions were made to enable successful organization of the event.  

To create appropriate route for the Rath Yatra, directions were given to the concerned departments to keep the animals off road and make effective arrangement of fire brigade, drinking water and electricity.

Orders such as shifting of cables and wires to 20 ft high above the ground, chopping of extra trees’ branches, fill potholes, repair of water lines and proper condition of the chambers to be completed before the stipulated time were mentioned. Also arrangements are to be made which includes proper barricading and temporary parking to avoid traffic jam during the Rath Yatra.

Police and administration were asked to connect efficiently in order to have strict command over the arrangements. Suggestions were also taken from the present members including Dinesh Makwana, Pradeep Kumawat and Ghanshyam Chawda.

The meeting was attended by ASP Rajesh Bhardwaj, Nigam Commissioner Himmat Singh Barhath and officers of various departments.
