As restrictions across Udaipur have eased considerably, the Udaipur district Collector today imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 in MP Colony, Sector 14, Hiran Magri.  This area falls under the Savina police station.

As per the CMHO, Dr Dinesh Kharade, a senior officer of CGST office in the LIC Building at Udaipur was found COVID19 positive in Jammu. This officer was transferred to Jammu from Udaipur on 5 June. Since he has been found positive in Jammu and suspected to be infected while at Udaipur, the area has been placed under curfew to prevent further spread of infection if any.  As per CMHO, the close contacts tracing and testing will be conducted in the next 24 hours.

The orders will incorporate all necessary restrictions in MP Colony. Public places, rallies, shops of all kinds, gyms, shopping areas, etc will be shut down from 12am today till midnight of 23 June. Girwa Tehsildar Shravan Singh has been appointed as Executive Magistrate for the area.
