Proposals for allotment of land for IIM Udaipur, a cricket stadium, community centre and tribal development hostel will be sent to the state government

The Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) in its meeting on 22 July approved a decision to send a proposal to the state government to allot 1.3 hectares of additional land to IIM Udaipur.

IIM Udaipur is reaching its final phase of construction and an additional 1.3 hectares land for extension of the present campus at revenue village Balicha has been approved by the UIT. Once the proposal is approved by the state government, the land will be allotted.

In another decision at today’s meeting, it was decided to send a proposal to the state government for the allotment of 2000 sq meter land at Shyamnagar, Bhuwana extension in the form of donation for the construction of a new Tribal Development hostel.

Another proposal that has been approved to seek state government sanction, is the allotment of land at Kheda, Kanpur village near Madri to the Rajasthan Cricket Association, for the construction of a cricket stadium.

Another sanction request for allotment of 10000 sqft of land to the Minorities Harmony Mandap for the construction of a Community Service Centre at Savina, Kheda and Balicha will also be sent to the state government.
