Collector Ashutosh A.T Pednekar held a meeting with the District Health Committee in which he advised the entire team of medical practitioners to provide better health services in the district.

In the meeting, he reviewed the provision of swine flu tablets in the district and emphasized on vigilant screening in the area. Discussions were made regarding construction of dharmshala, urban health plan and hard duty allowance to the doctors etc.

Additional Dist Collector Chogaram Dewasi ordered the repair of machines installed at medical centers and advised the officers to provide smooth functioning of 108 ambulance services in the city.

The collector showed disappointment towards the nonfunctional blood storage units. He also ordered the head officers to reach the goal of 100 vasectomy in each block under the Family Welfare scheme.
