R.C Agarwal, General Manager of North Western Railway inaugurated the newly constructed rest rooms for Loco Pilots and Ticket Tellers at City Railway Station today.

Agarwal also indicated the need of Escalator at Udaipur Railway Station and a lodging section at Railway Training Center for students.

Prior to the inauguration, Agarwal inspected the railway station and talked to the railway employees about their concern.

The newly built rest rooms for loco pilots and T.Ts are equipped with all basic amenities. Both running rooms have 10 separate rooms with 2 beds in each room.

Agarwal also announced Rs.20000 as his individual contribution for both staying rooms. The construction work was completed in 14 months and it cost Rs. 2 Crore.

R. C Agarwal also expressed his concern over the lodging facilities for students who appear for railway training. He said that a hostel is proposed for this.

About installing escalators on Railway Station, he said, “The escalator is required at railway station and I will propose to the higher authority.”
