In response to the gradual increase in the number of passengers during this festival season of Dussehra and Deepawali, Jinendra Shastri, one of the members of Udaipur Railway Advisory Committee, requested Railway Officer Harful Singh Choudhary to keep the ticketing window no. 3 open during the afternoon time.

Jinendra Shastri informed that window number 3 remains closed from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm every day reducing number of open windows to one only. Due to this, a very long queue of the passengers waits to buy tickets, which becomes time consuming.

“We have written a request letter to the concerned officer so that window no.3 at the Railway station is kept open keeping the festival season in mind. This will help the Railways to avoid heavy queues and the passengers to get their reservations on time”, said Shastri.
