Udaipur Division Gets a New Divisional Commissioner - Rajasthan Government Effects Transfers of 6 IAS and 7 RAS Officers
IAS Khajan Singh is the new Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur Division
UdaipurTimes, August 22, 2026 | Udaipur Local Administration News: The State Government of Rajasthan effected transfers of 6 IAS officers and 7 RAS officers on Friday 21 August.
IAS Khajan Singh (2013) will take over as the new Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur. He will succeed IAS Ms. Pragya Kewalramani (2010) to this post. In the meanwhile Ms. Pragya has been handed dual responsibility as Commissioner TAD and Devasthan Department at Udaipur. Interestingly of the 6 IAS transfers announced, 3 of the officers have been APO. IAS Khajan Singh has been APO since December 2025, which is an unusually long period.
