The recent development towards the cardiology department of the premium hospital of the city-MB Hospital will bring respite to Udaipurites.

After a recent MoU signed between Hindustan Zinc and RNT Medical College on Monday, there will soon be establishment of state’s biggest cardio setup worth Rs. 5 Cr. In the setup, besides primary Cath Lab machines, state-of-the-art machines such as Rotablater, Intra-vascular Ultrasound and FFR will also be installed by the end of April.

HoD of cardiology, Dr. Kapil Bhargava informed that with the new setup, better treatment will be provided at discounted price with the help of technologically advanced machines.

The setup will require Rs. 20 Lac maintenance per year and for the first 4 years; HZL will handle the maintenance of the machines in the cardio setup.
