Rajni Dangi, mayor of the city, inaugurated the road lights for the first time at Police line yesterday. The inauguration was held at 7 pm.

The program was also attended by Kalu Ram Rawat (AdSP Head Quarter), Udai Singh Sanchit (in charge of Police line), Vandana Porwal (Local coordinator; ward no.40), Satya Narayan Mochi (Local coordinator; ward No. 21), Roshan Lal Jain (Former president of Bar association), Chandra Singh Kothari (Social Worker), Ganesh Lal Gurjar and residents of the police line.

The police line is extended between ward 21 and 40. Since independence the residential colony of the police lines was in the dark as there were devoid of road lights.

Area representatives requested the mayor to install the light poles, so that the 775 residents can have a safer neighborhood. On receiving their proposal, Rajni Dangi, accepted and granted permission to install the road lights.
