UDA Issues Rani Road Night Food Market Work Order
Rani Road Night Food Market project aims to boost night tourism with theme-based food stalls and seating for 250 visitors
Udaipur, Jan 16, 2026 - In an effort to promote night tourism in Udaipur, the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) has issued a work order to establish the food market adjacent to Rajiv Gandhi Park on Rani Road as a dedicated Night Food Market.
UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain said that a target has been set to develop the proposed night food market within the next 20 days. Seating arrangements for approximately 250 people will be created in the market.
The proposed food market will encourage 15 to 16 theme-based food stalls. Each stall will offer different cuisines so that tourists and city residents can enjoy a variety of food options late into the night.
The proposal to develop a night food market on Rani Road was introduced in August 2025 during a meeting of the district administration and the tourism department.
