Relief for Udaipur as District Collector declines to form Containment Zones | NO INTERIM LOCKDOWN in UDAIPUR

In his review and final assessment today, the Collector reviewed the situation in various parts of the district and has decided that the current COVID19 spread in the city is still controlled and there is NO NEED to impose lockdown in selected areas.

Udaipur District Collector Chetan Deora has taken a call on NOT identifying containment areas in Udaipur to impose selective lockdown.

Chetan Deora held an assessment meeting earlier today to review the state government guidelines on imposing lockdown in containment zones of selected districts in Rajasthan.

In his review and final assessment today, the Collector reviewed the situation in various parts of the district and has decided that the current COVID19 spread in the city is still controlled and there is NO NEED to impose lockdown in selected areas.

During the meeting with the health authorities, Chetan Deora also issued an appeal to the residents of Udaipur to adhere to social distancing guidelines AND observe caution in their day to day activities. He also appealed for all to make strict use of the face mask.

The Collector has also warned that if guidelines are not followed and if the spread increases, there will be no option left but to impose lockdown after identifying the containment areas.
