Residents of Eklavya Colony protested against recently installed 4G Mobile Tower of Reliance. The agitated residents also gave memorandum to Commissioner Municipal Corporation (UMC). They also alleged company workers for misbehaving with locals.

Ajay Ameta, Resident, Eklavya Colony, informed that around 3 months back representatives of reliance company visited their colony. The officials installed Mobile Tower informing it to be a street light on initial stage of installation.

Ajay added that colony has a population of around 2500 individuals, which also includes kids and aged people. The locality is very congested and tower is constructed on hilly trail, which can become problem in monsoon and even in windy days.

Himmat Singh Barath, Commissioner, UMC, “We had received complaint from residents of Eklavya Colony. A team was instructed to visit locality, thereafter appropriate action would be taken against mobile tower.”
