Restoration work may begin soon at Sajjangarh Palace
Funds have been sanctioned by Forest department for restoration of crumbling portions of Sajjangarh Palace. A popular destination amongst tourists, Sajjangarh has quite a few portions that need immediate repair and finally funds have been sanctioned by Forest department towards the same.

G.V. Reddy, Chief Wildlife warden said that the palace was in urgent restoration need forest department has sanctioned Rs 6Lakh for getting the Detailed Project Report (DPR). Post drafting of the DPR, sanctioning of the restoration cost (anticipated at Rs 2 Cr) will have to come from Chief Secretary.
Sajjangarh, also known as Monsoon palace, was built in 1884 and named after Maharana Sajjan Singh. Sajjangarh is now under control of Forest Department.
