In an initiative to solve intense parking problems in city areas, the Udaipur Municipal Corporation has appointed Ridcore Company to develop underground parking in Hathiwala Park at UMC campus. Following the technical aspects of proposed land, a survey of its soil quality was flagged by Mayor Rajni Dangi.

According to the Mayor, the company is appointed directly by the directorate office; officials of this company will carry out a geological survey of the park, wherein samples from various places of the park will be tested under supervision of Sharad Gupta, Manager of Ridcore.

Mayor further added that the project includes development of underground parking without affecting current standing of the park. A survey report prepared by the company will clarify that the parking could be developed in single or multiple levels, along with the details of actual count of vehicles that could be parked.
