RIICO Udaipur to Allot Developed Land to Landowners of Acquired Land

Udaipur, Feb 5, 2026: RIICO is organizing a special camp on February 10 and 11 from 11AM to 5PM at the RIICO office in Madri Industrial Area.

This event is aimed at landowners who had their land acquired for industrial areas but have yet to receive full compensation. Landowners can apply for developed land in exchange for the acquired land, even if compensation is pending in court.

According to Ajay Pandya, the Addl General Manager at RIICO, landowners whose land has been acquired earlier and who have not yet received the final compensation amount as per the award, and who still retain possession of the acquired land, can apply for developed land in exchange for the acquired land. Cases where the compensation amount has been deposited in court and the possession of the land remains with the landowners will also be eligible to apply for developed land as per the policy.

Under the new policy, eligible applicants can receive either 20% residential/industrial and 5% commercial land or, if the latter isn't available, 30% residential/industrial land. The application deadline is March 2, 2026, and a lottery will determine the allotment. Attendees must bring all relevant documents for the acquired land and identity proof.
