RNT Medical College Seeks Enhanced Security, Traffic Management
RNT Medical College Principal Dr Rahul Jain requests increased police security, regular patrolling, traffic management and CCTV monitoring via Abhay Command Center in Udaipur
Udaipur, April 15, 2026 - Principal and Controller of RNT Medical College Dr Rahul Jain has written a letter to the District Superintendent of Police requesting enhanced security arrangements in the medical college and its affiliated hospitals.
In the letter, Dr Jain emphasised the need to strengthen police presence in view of the increasing crowd and rising security requirements within the hospital premises. He requested that regular patrols be conducted in all hospitals located within the medical college campus by the police outpost under the Hathipole police station area.
Additionally, he stressed the importance of improving traffic management. A request has been made for traffic police to coordinate with the Medical College’s traffic committee and conduct periodic visits to ensure smooth traffic flow within the campus.
The Principal also urged that the medical college and its associated hospital campus be connected to the Abhay Command Centre, enabling stronger security through CCTV surveillance systems.
