Road widening process at 100 ft road near Bhuwana started today after Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) demolished around 20 houses constructed illegally over government property. The encroachment drive was implemented few days back which continued for 48 hours.

According to Lal Singh Devda, Land Consultant, UIT, “Residents of Garib Nawaz Colony, Meera Nagar and nearby colonies had encroached land which was declared for common road. The illegally constructed houses were removed and road construction has started.”

Devda said that a 100 feet wide road is proposed over the land. The total length of this road will be around 1.5Km starting from Convoy Heights till Bhuwana. Construction is already in its initial stages and would complete in next one month.
