A new road from Udiapole to Kumharon ka Bhatta was inaugurated yesterday evening by State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria.

The road is near the agriculture department at Kumharon ka Bhatta and provides a direct connection to roadways bus stand. People driving from Patel Circle, City station and going towards Kumharon ka Bhatta will find a convenient way along this road.

The 60 feet wide road has a total length of 780 mtrs and has been constructed at a total cost of Rs 1.78 Crores. The road has also been well lit with Rs 31 Lakh worth LED and high mast lights. 2 high mast lights and 65 LEDs have been placed along this road.

This road is expected to ease traffic at Surajpole since vehicles coming from Hiranmagri, Sikh Colony, MB College road and Durga Nursery road can reach Udiapole directly.
