The state government on Wednesday night announced the transfer list of 48 IAS officers after which Rohit Gupta was declared the new collector of Udaipur.

The collector of Pali will now take over the job of Ashutosh A.T Pednekar, now former collector of Udaipur. The B.Tech Electrical Engineer, Rohit Gupta is a 2006 IAS officer who was additional collector of Jhalawar and CEO of Jodhpur Municipal Corporation.

While being the collector of Pratapgarh, Rohit Gupta has seen Udaipur in its proximity and will now focus on tourism development, says Gupta.

Ashutosh A.T Pednekar will now be serving as the CEO of Jaipur Nigam while the CEO of District Parishad Neha Giri is now transferred to Boondi as collector.
