Rs. 12 Crore approved for water pipeline from Jaisamand to Jagat

Joint Secretary of Panchayat, Modiram Patel informed that a sum of Rs 12 crore has been approved for the project. He said that a pipeline of almost 20 km will be installed in this project and it will benefit Jagat as well as Roba, Futapana, Khedi and Vali panchayats.
Modiram also informed about other facilities that are being provided to Jagat such as pension to more than 400 elder citizens, widows, disabled etc. He said that 137 houses were approved last year under Chief Minister Rural BPL Housing Scheme. Of these 137 houses, 35 have been completed and 125 beneficiaries have been provided with Rs. 25000 for the second installment.
Modiram also said that children of 6 widows and 4 orphan children are provided benefits under Palanhar Scheme. Electricity is available in three of the villages and a mini bank is available to provide MGNREGA wages to the workers. Also, panchayat has more than 100 handpumps.
