Under the Special Kharif Campaign from 25^th to 27^th June, the Kendriya Sehkari Bank has disbursed a total loan amounting to Rs. 23,71,83,000 to 11,709 tenant farmers.

The Bank’s Managing Director, Ashutosh Bhatt informed the media that on the first day, 218 Gram Seva committees, 234 on the second day and 138 Gram Seva committees on the third day organized the Special Kharif Campaign. He also told the Bank that efforts were taken to go to certain places themselves to distribute loans.

During the campaign, 1403 members of the Scheduled Castes were loaned Rs. 2,33,32,000. Around four thousand were from scheduled tribes, who received Rs. 5,73,01,000 and 115 people from minority community who got Rs. 17.83 lakhs. 6,103 people from the general community received loans totaling to Rs. 15,47,67,000.
