Udaipur Parliamentary Constituency Gets Rs 268 Cr for 184 Roads
Under MP Dr Manna Lal Rawat’s recommendation, PMGSY approves Rs 268 crore for 184 roads across Udaipur, Dungarpur, Salumber and Pratapgarh districts
Udaipur, Dec 29, 2025 - Following the recommendation of MP Dr Manna Lal Rawat, the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) has approved Rs 268 crore for the construction of 184 roads in the Udaipur Parliamentary constituency, covering Udaipur, Dungarpur, Salumber and Pratapgarh districts.
MP Rawat expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for this approval. He said that across Rajasthan, a total of Rs 2,089.37 crore has been sanctioned for 1,216 roads spanning 3,218.97 km.
In the Udaipur Parliamentary constituency, the allocation includes:
- Udaipur district: 84 roads, 171 km, costing Rs 129.27 crore
- Salumber district: 39 roads, 76 km, costing Rs 56.68 crore
- Dungarpur district: 50 roads, 82 km, costing Rs 60.16 crore
- Pratapgarh district: 11 roads, 17.42 km, costing Rs 21.97 crore
Dr Rawat said that in Udaipur district, the roads will be constructed in Kherwada, Rishabhdev, Nayagaon, Girwa, Kherabad, Devla, Jhadol, Falasia, Badgaon and Sayra blocks. In Pratapgarh district, the roads will be developed in Dhariyawad and Peepalkhunt. For Dungarpur district, development work will take place in Aspur, Bichhiwada, Chikhli, Dowda, Galiyakot, Gamdi Ahara, Jhotri, Paldeval, Sabla, Sagwada and Seemalvada blocks. In Salumber district, roads will be built under PMGSY in Jaisamand, Jhallara, Lasadia, Salumber, Sarada and Semari blocks.
