Work is now expected to begin on the multipurpose indoor hall at Maharana Pratap Khelgaon, Udaipur. Sports Council Rajasthan has received a budget of Rs 28 Crore towards the same. Rs 10 Crore from this has come from Central Govt whereas Rs 18 Crore has been allotted by State Govt.

With budget approved, the agency engaged for designing construction of the Council Hall, Pidicor has been instructed to start work. Tenders will shortly be invited for the same. It is expected that work will begin on the construction in the next couple of months. Design and Drawing of agency Pidicor has been approved. Pidicor will be inviting tenders from interested firms for construction and the selected firm will have to work on EPC mode for construction. This would mean that the selected firm will have to also take care of the maintainance of the premises post construction. Any shortfall will be responsibility of the construction company.
