With the influx of tourists, the road between Samor Bagh and City Palace has been announced as ‘Heritage Walk’ which will be converted into a ‘no parking’ and ‘no entry zone’ for four & two wheelers except for the area inhabitants.

With the influx of tourists, the road between Samor Bagh and City Palace has been announced as ‘Heritage Walk’ which will be converted into a ‘no parking’ and ‘no entry zone’ for four & two wheelers except for the area inhabitants.

This decision was taken by Collector Rohit Gupta during district level traffic management committee meeting. The inhabitants of the heritage walk will be provided with stickers to differentiate them from other people.

In the meeting, the collector emphasized proper management of parking across the city and ordered diversion of passenger tempos to new routes where there is a need of public transport means. New routes will be formed keeping in mind the UIT periphery.

Special mention was made to decrease the level of pollution in the city and act stringent in terms of checking for PUC in vehicles.

The meeting was attended by Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, Additional SP Dr. Rajesh Bhardwaj, Commissioner Himmat Singh Barhath, RTO ML Rawat, RTO Prakash Singh Rathore and many others who presented their views and suggestions in the meeting.
