District Collector, Ashutosh A.T Pednekar inspected the Saraswati Library in Gulab Bagh today and approved the process of starting new services and necessary additions for the library.

A total of Rs. 10 lac was passed as a budget for inclusion of new books, furniture, RO water facility, digitalization of historic photographs and texts. The process will be coordinated by RSMM under joint efforts with the administration.

“The digital information will be made available on a website so that it can benefit the masses,” collector quoted.

Also, 100-150 digital photographs of historic events will also be selected from this collection and will be showcased in the upcoming Mewar Festival.
