National Voter’s Day was celebrated today by different government and non government organizations

The day is marked as the foundation day of Indian Election Commission. A program was held at Meera Girls College today where the chief guest Additional Collector Chogaram Devasi gave oath to all voters and said that every voter should vote the deserving candidate ignoring the differences of caste and other social dissimilarities.

Students who won competitions held in their schools regarding Voter’s Day were honored in the function.

ADM also inaugurated a poster exhibition on Voter’s Day at Suchna Kendra.

RNT Medical College also organized Voter’s Day which was participated by all students and Principal Dr A.K Verma, and Dr Shalabh Sharma, Prof Dr Rekha Bhatnagar, Dr Rahul Prakash, Dr Bunker, Dr Kriti etc.

The day was also celebrated at Nehru Yuva Kendra where Youth Coordinator Pawan Kumar Amravar gave pledge and addressed the members with the importance of voting in democratic nation.
