Construction work of Shaheed Smarak at Town Hall Campus reached into its final phase. A museum along with a large garden area is also developed by Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC). The work was initiated around a year ago with budget of Rs.1 crore.

Satyanarayan Mochi, President, Garden & Beautification Committee, UMC informed, “Photo frames with details of the martyrs from 1857 to 1947 will be kept in this museum.”

The construction work at venue is expected to be over in one month. Entry to the museum will be paid, though the charges would be very nominal, said Mochi. The park is been installed with the idol of Maharana Pratap.

Prem Singh Shaktawat, President, Construction Committee said, “Budget of Rs. 1 crore was sanctioned initially, but due to some technical reasons it was revised to Rs.1.5 crore.”
