The government offices and buildings across Udaipur have been installed with sign boards, which indicates name of its respective department. Soon these boards will be installed at all historically important buildings around town.

On the proposal of District Collector, these sign boards were installed outside District Collectorate, Urban Improvement Trust (UIT), Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UIT) and Maharana Bhupal Hospital. In future, similar boards will be established on every public department.

The sign boards to be installed at historic buildings would be mentioned with a description, which will include facts and importance of the buildings. Around 136 buildings have been identified by district administration in addition to departmental offices.
