SIR 2026: Draft Voter List Released, Objections Deadline Jan 15
Of 19.62 lakh registered voters, enumeration forms were successfully submitted by 17,66,592 voters during the counting phase held from November 4 to December 11
Udaipur, Dec 17, 2025 - The Election Commission of India (ECI) had announced the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Voter Lists 2026 programme on October 27, 2025, in the State, under which the work of distributing and collecting counting forms to all voters has been completed during the counting phase from November 4, 2025 to December 11, 2025.
Before the start of SIR work, the total number of voters in Udaipur district was19,62,340 to whom counting forms were distributed. During the counting phase in the district, a total of 17,66,592 voters have filled and submitted their counting forms, whose names have been included in the draft voter list released on Tuesday (December 16).
During the counting phase, from November 19 to December 7, meetings were held by the BLO with the booth level agents appointed by political parties at each polling station in all the seven Assembly Constituencies of the district, in which the list of non-receipt forms along with their reasons was made available to the booth level agents by the BLO, so that they could review this list and find out the reason for non-receipt of the counting forms and take corrective action in this regard, if necessary.

During the counting phase, counting forms of a total of 1,95,748 voters were not received, the list of which is available on the website of Chief Electoral Officer, Rajasthan election.rajasthan.gov.in and is available in accessible format on the district website https://election.rajasthan. gov.in/ASD_SIR_2026/ASD_List_EPIC_District.html?district=23
Among the above missing enumeration forms are 42439 dead, 127517 permanently shifted, 11106 absent, 13641 registered at multiple places in the voter list and 1045 others. This list has also been pasted at the polling station/Gram Panchayat headquarters/Urban body office, so that it is available for public/citizens to view.
However, it is noteworthy that Form 6 has been received online for the registration of 3929 voters and 2537 Form 6 offline through BLOs, whose names will be added to the voter list after following the prescribed procedure. The process of receiving Form 6 will continue uninterrupted during this period as well. The public can also fill their Form 6 online through the Voter Helpline App or Voter Service Portal or can also submit Form 6 along with the declaration form to the BLO.
Those who will be completing the age of 18 years on 1.4.2026, 1.7.2026 or 1.10.2026 can also submit an advance application by filling Form 6 and the prescribed declaration form to get their name added to the voter list.
Representatives of recognised political parties present in the meeting were Pradeep Ratani, Kuntal Joshi, Jagdish Kheraliya, Shantilal Jain from Bharatiya Janata Party, Amit Kharadi from Bharatiya Adivasi Party, Himmat Changwal, Subhash Shrimali from Communist Party of India, Fateh Singh Rathod, Dinesh Kumar Dave, Dr Sanjeev Rajpurohit, Mahendra Damor, Arun Tank, Kaushal Nagda, Pankaj Paliwal from Indian National Congress, Suresh Kumar Meghwal from Bahujan Samaj Party, Mohammad Hanif from Aam Aadmi Party.
Two copies of the draft voter list (one hard and one soft copy) were made available to the representatives of recognised political parties present. They were also provided information regarding claims and objections to the draft voter list and how to submit Form 6 with a declaration for new voter registration. The declaration form allows the applicant to map their name or that of their mother/father's name with the previous intensive revision.
Along with this, for the convenience of voters in the district/Assembly Constituency, booths with more than 1,200 voters were also reorganised. Previously, there were 1,936 polling stations in the district/Assembly Constituency. These were reorganised/streamlined to create 322 new polling stations, and currently, there are 2258 polling stations in Udaipur district. Thus, there are no polling stations left in the district with more than 1200 voters.
Claims and objections will be received from 16.12.2025 to 15.01.2026, as per the schedule announced by the ECI. During this period, claims and objections may be submitted regarding voters included in the draft electoral roll or otherwise regarding the electoral roll. The concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) will prepare a list of applications received for claims and objections in Forms 9, 10, 11, 11A, and 11B, and a copy of such list will be displayed on the notice board of their office every working day. The concerned Electoral Registration Officer will share the weekly lists of claims and objections received with recognised political parties.
The first appeal against the decision of the ERO can be made to the District Magistrate within 15 days. In case of dissatisfaction with the decision of this appeal, a second appeal against the decision of the first appeal officer can be made to the Chief Electoral Officer within the next 30 days. After this, the final publication of the voter lists will be done on the date fixed by the Commission which is 14.02.2025.
