100% digitisation completed across 17 districts, 138 Assembly Constituencies and 50,300 booths

Udaipur, Dec 5, 2025 -  Under the directions of the Election Commission of India (ECI), Rajasthan has made remarkable progress in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR 2026) of electoral rolls with high speed, accuracy and transparency.

Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan informed that of the State’s total 5,46,56,215 enumeration forms, more than 5.45 crore have already been successfully uploaded to the ECI-Net. Achieving 99.87% completion ahead of the scheduled timeline, Rajasthan has established a new benchmark in digital efficiency and coordination.

100% Digitisation

Mahajan said that all enumeration forms have been fully digitised in 17 districts — Barmer, Salumbar, Balotra, Jhalawar, Phalodi, Bharatpur, Churu, Dausa, Baran, Rajsamand, Deeg, Jhunjhunu, Pali, Sikar, Chittorgarh, Nagaur, and Sawai Madhopur. Similarly, digitisation work has been completed across 138 Assembly Constituencies.

Rajasthan Tops in Voter Mapping

The State has also recorded significant success in voter mapping, completing over 95% of the work. In 18 Assembly Constituencies — Kapasan, Baytu, Salumbar, Lohawat, Nagar, Sikrai, Osian, Shahpura, Bamanwas, Chittorgarh, Nagaur, Badi Sadri, Shahpura, Khandar, Gudhamalani, Jayal, Sapotara, Shiv, and Degana — more than 99% voter mapping has been completed.

Kapasan leads the State with 99.46% mapping, where only around 1,500 voters out of 2.73 lakh still need to submit documents.

Mahajan said voter mapping simplifies the revision process and reduces the need for unnecessary document submission. It enhances transparency, accuracy and booth-level voter management.

BLOs: Backbone of This Achievement

More than 50,000 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) ensured 100% field verification and doorstep coverage. Their consistent efforts made this significant achievement possible.

Mahajan emphasised that this success is not just data collection. It reflects collective commitment to making the electoral roll more reliable, transparent, organized and voter-centric. He added that Rajasthan’s progress marks an important step toward strengthening the democratic process.
