The first meeting of the Board of Directors of Udaipur Smart City Limited was held today at Municipal Corporation’s office.

The aim of the meeting was to finalize several activities related to Smart City project. More than 30 important points were discussed and a plan was made for the activities related to the first round.

Another meeting was organized with Home Minister Gulabchand Kataria too to brief him about Smart City Director’s meeting. MLA Phool Singh Meena, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, Chief Administrative Secretary Dr Manjeet Singh, District Collector Rohit Gupta and Municipal Commission Siddharth Sihag with other administrative officials were present in the meeting.

Gulabchand Kataria said that Udaipur is all ready to become Smart City, with opinions and suggestions taken by citizens, many effective works of development are already undertaken, he said.

The directors had thorough discussions on the agendas of Smart City. It was informed that on 25^th June plans will be executed at all places selected for Smart City and work will start in Udaipur by 15^th June, all formalities will be done for the works of Rs. 15 Crore. The process of appointing consultants is already going on and by 31^st May consultant services are expected to get started.
