Udaipur Smart City Limited (USCL) has floated tenders worth Rs 480 Cr for 6 work items to be taken up under the Smart City project. The tender includes carrying out the work and providing maintenance for a period of 10 years.

The tenders were released late last night. Providing additional information, SE Arun Vyas informed that tender was released for carrying out the following six tasks: Strengthening the water supply network, establishing cum improvement of the severage system, taking the electricity, telecom and other cables underground, setting up the utility ducts, road carpeting and setting up the SCADA system in the city.

All six tasks will have to be carried out by 1 company. Pre-bid for tender will be held on 10-Aug. Last date for submitting online bid is 11-Sept. Tenders will be opened on 12-Sept

Work is expected to be completed in 2 years
