Social Security Monthly Pension Increased to Rs 1,300 in Rajasthan
Around 91 lakh pensioners in the State to benefit after Rajasthan government increases social security pension from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,300 per month
Udaipur, Feb 19, 2026 - The Rajasthan State Government has raised the social security pension disbursed every month by Rs 50, therefore increasing the amount from Rs 1,250 to Rs 1,300 per month. The revised amount, under the Social Security Pension Scheme, will be effective from January 1 and will start being disbursed from February.
The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has issued the official orders regarding this increase in compliance with the provisions of the Rajasthan Minimum Income Guarantee Act, 2023.
Around 91 lakh pensioners across the State are expected to benefit from this decision. This will include old-age pensioners, widows and single women, persons with disabilities and small and marginal farmers.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot said this step will strengthen the spirit of Antyodaya. The increase will put an additional annual financial burden of about Rs 550 crore on the State Government. The government will spend approximately Rs 1,150 crore every month on the pension scheme.
