The lead center of Sports Authority of India will be established in Udaipur by the state government in which national level coaches will provide training to sports players.

The budget to make Udaipur a sports hub has been increased from Rs. 12 Cr to Rs. 20 Cr. Collector Rohit Gupta informed that Khelgaon at Chitrakoot Nagar will provide hostel, mess and accommodation for national coaches.

In the same line, coaching for water sports such as boat race, water polo, canoeing, surfing etc. will be provided. These activities will facilitate tourism. Also, rock climbing, parachute jumping, string riding and other adventure activities are likely to commence this year in the city.
