After launching Free Medicine Scheme, Rajasthan Government initiated Free Medical-Test Scheme at Government owned hospitals in the state today.

 

State Minister Inaugurates Free Medical-Test Scheme

After launching Free Medicine Scheme, Rajasthan Government initiated Free Medical-Test Scheme at Government owned hospitals in the state today.

The much talked about public beneficiary scheme was inaugurated today at RNT Medical College, Udaipur by Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, State Minister of Tribal Area Development, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.

In the hospitals, 57 various medical tests including Blood, Urine, Stool, E.C.G, Ultra Sonography etc will be done free of cost. Tests will be conducted from morning 8 till 12 in afternoon whereas test reports will be given in the evening 5-7 pm.

Malviya inaugurated the scheme by handing over test reports to three patients. In his address, Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya spoke about the work done by the state government in past four years to help the people of Rajasthan.

Malviya said that Free Medicine Scheme was a very important scheme running in Rajasthan which created a nationwide buzz. Likewise, free check-up scheme will be set in motion in all General Hospitals till 15th August.

Udaipur MLA Raghuveer Singh Meena, Chittorgarh MLA Girija Vyas and other prominent congress leaders, administrative officers, doctors of RNT Medical College etc were present in the function.
