State sends Rs. 6400 Cr Smart City Proposals to Center

The four smart cities are Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota and Ajmer around which the project plans will cover specific area based, as well as region based development.

 

State sends Rs. 6400 Cr Smart City Proposals to Center

The Rajasthan State government will be sending proposals worth Rs. 6400 Cr to the central government for the development of the four most potential smart cities. The plans were approved by high powered panel that held meeting on Monday under the chairmanship of chief secretary CS Rajan.

The four smart cities are Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota and Ajmer around which the project plans will cover specific area based, as well as region based development.

The plans to be sent before December 15th will cover sustainable mobility management system, heritage conservation, public transportation and solid waste management components under urban development.

Out of the suggested proposal, Jaipur has received the most part of the share with Rs. 2404 Cr followed by Rs. 1493 Cr for Kota, Rs. 1300 Cr for Ajmer and Rs. 1221 Cr for Udaipur.
