State Women Commission President reaches Udaipur

Suman Sharma, President of State Women Commission called for a meeting of police and administration department officers where she discussed the registered cases with the activities of the commission.

While expressing satisfaction on the activities, she also emphasized on fast resolution of the cases and organized reports for the same. She urged to the Police department to send reports of women related cases once in three months so that a study can be done on these matters. She also suggested for better behaviour for women who come to complain, responding timely, behaving sensitively with females.

She also told that now these meetings will be held at rural level as well so that rural part is not left out. She told that it’s time for decentralisation of powers and thus there will be four members committee on every 33 districts to act fast on women related matters. A women safety app is also under the pipeline to facilitate women better.
