The proposal to create Exclusive Bird Park at the place of Gulab Bagh Zoo has been finalized. The work of Bird Park will commence as soon as the budget is passed. After Udaipur, this will be constructed at Jaipur and Jodhpur in the state.

The budget proposal has been sent according to which Rs. 11.50 Cr will be the estimate cost of the Bird Park. Under the stipulated cost, Rs. 184.27 Lac will be spent on the infrastructure development and Rs. 965.25 will be spent for enclosure development. In the area of 51135.47 sq meters, the park will be developed. The figures are provided by T. Mohan, DFO.

For the knowledge of birds, museum and education center will also be established in the premises. Information of the trees will be displayed. Besides wetland, landscaping and water bodies, veterinary hospital and feed store building will be established.

Parrot, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Alexandrine Parakeet, Plum Headed Parakeet, Rosalene, Grey Parrot, Macaw, Crane, Greater Flamingo, Black Necked Stork, Great White Pelican, Grey Legged Goose and Bar-Headed Goose etc. will enhance the beauty of the park.
