The teams on inspection for maintaining cleanliness penalised street food vendors on Tuesday at Sevashram Choraha.
As informed by the Health Officer, there were 10 street food vendors at Sevashram choraha who were not maintaining clean surroundings. Each of the vendors were fined with 500 rupees and warned to maintain cleanliness. The fines were levied under Section 232 of Rajasthan Municipal Act.
A hotel was also penalied for improper disposal of garbage. Hotel Kanak was fined with 500 rupees for not maintaining the proper system of garbage disposal.
Maintaining cleanliness is extremely important from health point of view. If we maintain clean surroundings, we can save ourselves from a lot of diseases. It is basically the duty of every citizen to maintain clean surroundings.
