The Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) is appointing sweeping staff, where Mayor Rajni Dangi took personal interview of around 50 candidates. These candidates were short listed from nearly nine thousand applications received few months back.

Today, at UMC process of requiting on 1074 posts of sweeping staff started. On first day of the process nearly 50 women were interviewed by Mayor, whereas procedure would continue for another 10 days at UMC campus.

According to Himmat Singh Bharath, Commissioner, UMC, “Intially we are considering female candidates for the post, which will be followed by male applicants. These appointed staff will be on pay roll of UMC, who would help in keeping city of clean.”
